In 2025, he helped guide both Girls teams to be GAPPS State Champions and the Boys teams to State Runners-up before becoming the Athletic Director. He is most proud of the teams’ PRs, prayers for each other, and Scripture memory. He is an active member of F3Nation–a faith-based fitness group for men.
JAY RAYMOND (Assistant Athletic Director)
Jay received his bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and recently retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after 25 years of service. Jay and Kimberly have been married for 24 years and have homeschooled their two children since kindergarten. Both children have attended Konos for several years. Over the years, Jay has served the church in multiple capacities, enjoying his time as an elder, small group leader, and parenting/marriage counselor. The Raymond family loves exploring science through the lens of God’s creation, staying active with their German Shorthaired Pointer, and often plans vacations around hiking, biking, and running! Jay has also enjoyed coaching Konos Cross Country and Track for the last three years and desires to help athletes develop a lifelong love of running, fitness, and grit.
